Word Study: Homograph Matching Cards
Couldn't load pickup availability
The direct aim of the homonyms word study is to help children understand that homonyms are words with the same spelling but different meanings and to help expand and enrich the child’s vocabulary.
*Note: This set was previously labeled as Homonyms. There is no difference to the set aside from the change in label.
*Note: The homograph pairs contained within this set all have the same pronunciation. Heteronyms are a subset of homographs that have the same spelling but different pronunciations. I have a separate material for purchase specifically for the instruction of heteronyms.

This set contains 64 pairs of
Homographs matches.
I recommend printing the materials on cardstock and laminating them for extended use.
The black and white/colored outline and blue and red sets are interchangeable. Use whichever meets the needs of your students best. The blue and red cards act as an additional visual cue. The colored outline cards can be printed using the black and white setting on a particular color of paper to differentiate them from other word study sets.
